Hindu Mythology has always been mysterious for all of us. Being the oldest and the culturally richest religion on this earth, it belongs to everyone beyond the boundaries of countries from the periphery to the core. There are some incidents and facts which clearly depict the connection of Sanatana or Hinduism from the rest of the world as one for all. Whether its about the war on the moon or participation in Mahabharata, it has stories and incidents which prove the connection of Gods and Goddesses of Hindu Mythology to the entire universe. The sun and the moon are deities in Hinduism. They meet the whole world every day. Lord Vishnu had taken Matsya Avatar and saved all species of human, animals and plants. Similar references, with some variations, can be found in other mythological and religious books. Lets see few references in Hindu mythology which prove that Hindu gods and goddesses were connected with the entire world and not just a country.
Mayan Civilization of America and Shukrcharya
Shukracharya’s treasure of knowledge was stolen from his possession by a demon named Maya. Maya was the lead civil engineer of the Pataal, the land of demons, for some time. Some believe that Pataal was how they referred to the land beneath the soil where humans stood. Now earth is round. If we dig an imaginary tunnel through Earth, we would land up somewhere near Latin America. Where do we find the unrivaled architecture of the Mayan civilization? Sense something? And second reference is of Mayasur ,who constructed Indraprasth for Pandavas as mentioned in Mahabharata Epic also belonged to the Mayan culture of south east Mexico.
Kunti conducted the Mahalaxmi Pooja in company of a White elephant brought from Thailand:
When Kunti, mother of Pandavas asked her sons to get her an elephant to worship, they arranged a white elephant from Indra Dev. Do you know where white elephants are found these days? Thailand, Yes! so according to fact it seems that white elephant was brought for Laxmi pooja from Thailand and given to Kunti.
When Ram Setu from Ramayan was backed by science
As per the Hindu epic Ramayana, Ram setu was built so that Lord Rama and his army could cross the ocean to reach Lanka to save her wife Sita. A bridge across the ocean between Rameswaram (India) and Lanka, identified today as Sri Lanka was constructed. The same is also known as Adam’s Bridge and connects India and Sri Lanka as said in Hindu Mythology.
Emperor Bali Shifted to Talatal after giving his land to Lord Vishnu, which is Mexico and South America now:
The Aztecs originated as a nomadic tribe in north Mexico. They emerged as the dominant force in central Mexico, developing an intricate social, political, religious and commercial organization that brought many of the region’s city-states under their control by the 15th century. Isn’t it amazing that Mahabharata mentions them as Sarpas. And Bali, the great emperor traveled to South America after giving all his land to Vamana(Vishnu Avatara). And then he developed their colonies, in Indian mythology we call them Talatal and his cultures and customs exist even today in Mexico and South America.
Vamana Avatar of Lord Vishnu and its connection in various continents Asia Europe and Africa:
Vaman was one of the incarnations of Lord Vishnu. King Mahabali gained power over the universe and was doing his last pooja through which he could replace Indra. Lord Vishnu had then taken the Vaman Avatar to stop his pooja. In the mid of the pooja Vaman came and asked king Bali to give him three feet of earth. Once the wish was granted, the dwarf Brahmin grew into a giant of cosmic proportions. He then took over the Earth and the heavens in just two paces, then the king offered his head for the third pace and was sent to the Patala. Since the king was then ruling over Asia, Europe and Africa and not just India, Lord Vishnu had connections with Asia, Europe and Africa.
Kalyavan and Krishna:
As per the Vishnu Puran, Kalayavana was a Yavana king. This legend appears to indicate a Greek invasion. Krishna ran away from the dark Greek ruler Kaalyavan. I think it would be better to say that he lured him to the cave in which Muchkund was sleeping. Anyway Kaalyavan, the dark Greek king broke Muchkund’s sleep and in turn Muchkund killed him.
Hence, there are many facts and philosophies which have proven that Hindu Mythology and its God are not limited to the Hindu or Hindu country but have covered the whole universe as one. All Gods and Goddesses were having strong connections and frequent transactions with other continents and countries. There are also some pictures and idols found in other part of continent having Hindu marks and signs which indicate the presence of Shaivism and Vaishnavism.
